  • At least 10 well described projects
  • Team(s) which include well written individual profiles
  • 5 or more client testimonials

Jobs are submitted to us. Clients either have picked a team or we will propose the best matching team. For each job, we propose only 1 team. The proposal for the client we will develop together. There is no bidding mechanism.

How does the payment work?

To ensure both parties communicate well and deliver on commitments, payments will be processed through Ekipa’s escrow service. It means that clients transfer (regular periodical amounts) funds to Ekipa and command Ekipa to release the funds to you, subject to deliveries agreed in your contract. For this, you will sign an Escrow Agreement with Ekipa. This way, you can ensure you are protected from the ‘accounts receivables’ problem and clients make sure they get their deliveries.

  • What are your provider screening criteria?
The most important to us is that you know remote software development works and that the feeling is right. A few highlights we screen for:✓ Adoption of Agile and Scrum✓ Maturity of the software development process✓ Model of client engagement (fixed price / dedicated / T&M)✓ Seniority of your management team and engineers✓ Quality of delivered projects and clients✓ Company Culture
  • How do you help us deliver to remote clients?
We take an active role in the delivery of the projects. We do this through the Ekipa Method. The 4 components of the Ekipa Method:Kick-off workshop: Ekipa Canvas ©In a 3 hour workshop, we determine the software development process, responsibilities, coding standards, communication rythm, performance metrics and tools. With clear expectations and a communication roadmap, the project is off for a strong start.Local Management SupportYou will get a local European point of contact to discuss any concerns you have with the client.Weekly Process MeetingAn experienced manager will do a weekly (Skype) process call with you to ensure that the communication between you and your client goes smooth and your project stays on track.Local DeliveryIf the project requires onshore delivery, we can provide this. We have a large pool of analysts, scrum masters, project managers and architects that can speak directly with the client.See this video for more information about the Ekipa Method. How do I communicate with the client? We always start with a workshop in which we determine the communication rythm and the tools we'll use. In most cases, our clients have their own set of tools. The most often used are currently Jira, Github, Skype and Google Docs. If you have preferences in communication and tools, we will discuss that in the workshop. You can communicate on a continuous basis with the client about the project and the progress. To bridge culture and language gaps, our local account manager is involved.
